Jai's first visit to a Cow milking farm...

This weekend I was introduced to my first Cow milking farm. The calfs were cute. The farm was huge(500 acres) and there were over 1000 cows. On a small side note....It was incredibly interesting to see how everything was done and worked but wow, did it smell. Whew! I give props to those guys that worked all day long on that farm.

An expected visitor...

Yea....
So a few us decided to go shoot some pool last night. Well just before we had left my house, an unexpected visiter had shown up on my porch. Eeks! You should of seen my face. I was like good grief...what the hell is that??? Thankfully Scott knew what it was and told us that it was a slug and not some weird little alien. I have never, in my entire life, seen one of those things.

So whilst almost gagging, we thought hey, why not feed him? And so we did. Aaron even pet the bugger. The three of us just stood there while watching it actually eat the food I had just made for dinner. And just to show how big of a nerd I am, I even took video of this little guy chomping on my food. Wow. Nonetheless we had a great time shooting pool!

Rainy days...

The streets were flooding everywhere this past weekend.
In Kalamazoo while dropping off a friend, this is what it looked like in Kalamazoo.
The picture to the bottom right had to be at least a foot deep.

This garbage can(in my backyard) was full of rain..and overflowing.. as a result of Mother nature's crying this past weekend.

I wanted to cried too after seeing what the basement looked like. Ugh.

Last night's yum yums

Last night..Geers and I went to Carrabba's Italian Grill. Delicious. We started off with warm french bread with an 11 herb dipping sauce. I had the spicy sausage lentil soup as an appetizer. My entree..Chicken Marsala: prosciutto and lombardo Marsala wine sauce (with extra mushrooms) and fetticini alfredo.

Geers ordered the TI PIACE: topped with Italian sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, kalamata olives, mushrooms, sweet peppers, onions, tomatoes, and eggplant. Yes, all of those items on one pizza!
